The 4th national annual PhD conference will take place on 10 – 12 May 2020 at Oscarsborg Hotel & Resort. The hotel is located about 30 minutes from the city of Oslo and situated in a beautiful island with a military fortress in Oslofjord, close to the small town of Drøbak. It is a great setting for scientific discussions, networking and fun. We hope to see many NRSGH members at the conference. Transport from Gardermoen and Oslo center to Oscarsborg Hotel & Resort will be arranged for NRSGH members.
The PhD conference is arranged in advance of International Global Health Conference GLOBVAC 2020 on 13 – 14 May, at The Hub in Oslo city centre.
NRSGH request members to submit abstract to GLOBVAC 2020. Participants for the PhD-conference can apply for Travel grant and cover registration fee to attend GLOBVAC 2020, provided that the NRSGH memeber participate with an approved abstract.
About the conference
The annual PhD conference of NRSGH is organized exclusively by PhD students, for PhD students. This is the perfect arena to meet other students doing research in global health topics, to dicuss relevant topic and broaden your network in a friendly atmosphere. The program will include lectures by invited speakers, group work, discussions, and social activities. There is no conference fee, and NRSGH will cover travel expenses and full-board accommodation at the venue of all NRSGH members.
