Agenda:
1.Astrid Blystad informs about a recent workshop/seminar in Tanzania, on the project: ‘Competing discourses impacting girls’ and women’s rights: Fertility control and safe abortion in Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zambia’.
2.Information sharing:
-CIH Information blog is running
-New method for ordering /use of issue tracker (Gunhild has sent information in a separate mail)
-27/3 is a dissertation for Khalid Gaffer Mohamed; he has a very interesting trial lecture topic:
“How do internal and international brain drain affect capacity building in primary care in Sub-Saharan Africa? What could be strategies to address this challenge at different levels?” – it is in Lungegården, IGS 1015 that day.
-25/3 there is a meeting/seminar on Education at IGS for scientific staff, therefore we will not have an ordinary staff meeting that Monday.
-Reminding of the Global Health Conference 2-3/4 –do register
-Anne Berit Kolmanskog starts in CIH adm 1.april
-We are asked to have a representative in the committee for planning SDG 2020 (necessary for bringing in health)
-CMI-UiB – announces funding in April; for cooperation – development of projects
